Tuscaloosa News

I love the Tuscaloosa News.It is a cross betwen a big town paper and a small one. I am always amazed at some of the stories they come up with. I love getting the paper. It's one of the highlights of my day. I have dealt with them about a number of things, and I have always been satisfied with the way they handled the situations. If you are looking for a great hometown, but yet national-type and state news, this one is for you. I love reading it with USA Today. What a daily treat!

great newspaper

They put out a daily newspaper that you can either buy on the stand, in some stores in the area, or buy a subscription to and have it delivered. If you're in the area, a subscription is the way to save money. It has all the local circulars in it on Sundays. It costs 50 cents Monday through Saturday and $1.50 on Sunday. They cover both local, regional and national news. They come with a local section, a sports section, classifieds, and business sections. It is no small town newspaper like in my town. You can spend hours reading this paper if you read it all. They have a website where you can join and read, for free, some of the things they print in the paper. It mostly covers their top stories and some of them are archived. They have a search feature that makes it easier to find what you are looking for.I read it almost everday, but I do read it every Sunday. It is a paper I look forward to reading.

THE TUSCALOOSA NEWS!

I agree that the Tuscaloosa News should be complimented by another paper. If you have access to the Crimson White, then you should read it, along with the Tuscaloosa News, and then a national one. Sound like a lot of reading? No, it isn't. Most stories will overlap and you will get used to it. They will compliment each other. The Tuscaloosa News is, like another poster said, a highlight of my day. Delivery is good, considering it's in a college town. They are really good about replacing newspapers that don't make it to your home. I do recommend the Tuscaloosa News.
